Devon Delivers Business Promotion Grant provide opportunities to Devon based businesses and organisations to promote their goods or services to a national and international trade audience at UK-based events outside of Devon, in particular where applicants are dealing with other businesses and trade representatives rather than the public/direct consumers. Shows or events should take place between May 2019 and March 2020.

Grants of up to £1,500 are available for:
o Exhibition space costs: the amount paid by the participant for space at the exhibition venue and any other mandatory charges (for example, registration fees, catalogue entry charges, etc).
o Stand costs: stand design, construction, stand dressing, furniture hire, internet/phone connection and rental, display aids and graphics, etc; and
o Cost of preparing exhibition promotional materials or display items specifically for this event.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
o Applications are welcome from the whole of Devon (including Plymouth and Torbay), however businesses based within one of the following Devon County Council districts will be given priority: Exeter, East Devon, Mid Devon, North Devon, Torridge, West Devon, South Hams, Teignbridge.
o Applicants can be individual organisations which are private, charity or social enterprise groups, or umbrella organisations, representing a number of businesses within a sector/area. The providers welcome applications from any sector, but priority will be given to businesses in the following sectors:
o Advanced engineering.
o Business/Professional services.
o Construction & Property.
o Research/Science/Big Data.
o Energy, and
o The applicant must not have been fully committed to attend the event prior to seeking this grant, ie the grant is aimed to make something happen that would not happen otherwise.
o Priority will be given to businesses taking a new product or service to market.
o The applicant must demonstrate that they are selling products or services originating substantially in Devon.
The event must take place outside of Devon, yet still within the United Kingdom, and have a strong focus on reaching national and international audiences, for example to involve exhibitors from more than one county or country. Note that the provider reserves the right to make a decision on what constitutes as a national or international event.
The next deadline is today, Monday 20 May. However, check with the scheme’s administrator, Geri Panteva, to see if there are opportunities to apply beyond the deadline.
