Following a £432,000 grant award to the Institute of Fundraising (IoF) in 2017, fundraisers in the arts, culture and heritage sectors are being invited to apply for places on a mentoring scheme run by the Institute of Fundraising.
The Arts Council England-funded initiative matches early-career fundraisers with senior professionals in a bid to strengthen fundraising in the arts and culture sub-sector.
Successful applicants will be paired to develop skills and improve the support available to fundraisers starting out in the profession.
Mentor applications will close on 1 March, while mentee applications will open on 12 March and close on 3 April.
The selected mentors and mentees will meet for up to an hour at least once every two months between May 2019 and April 2020.
An IoF spokeswoman said: “There isn’t a limit on pairings. It will depend on the matching process of mentors to mentees. Last year we had 17 pairings.”
People do not need to be institute members to apply.
Further details are available on the IoF website.
